It was a conversation we’d had so many times before but this time I was insistent. “Tell me about the common and the ordinary,” I said earnestly. “We can’t,” Spirit answered, “we know nothing of it. Everything we created has been thoroughly imbued with the inordinate embrace of greatness.”
“To what end then, is it that I can experience the commonplace?” “To no end, my dear one. And precisely that, we provided you with so much sameness that you could know yourself as rooted in the green leafy vein of enoughness.”
Feeling complete, I turned and walked home into the wordless night, filled to the brim with my enoughness.
How profound!
