This is Esther Hicks as Abraham in the original Secret movie (before they were edited out) with a little bit of Michael Beckwith towards the end — on the stream of well being that sustains us.  Just beautiful!

Got Snow?

img_0300-3

That’s our official reading for how much is on the ground as of this morning out here in unincorporated Renton, Washington where the snow plows have gone missing! Maybe we could borrow one from Seattle’s “fleet” of 27. :)

We and all the animals are snuggled indoors. It’s a White Christmas for sure and perhaps the only one I will ever see again in the Seattle area. This December will surely go down as an unforgettable one. Pacific Northwest readers of my blog – I know you understand and the rest of you probably wonder what the big deal is about. :)

Merry Christmas everyone!

Bob.

allie-181

This is Bob formerly known as Allie. The girl cat that we discovered is a boy cat!
Isn’t he handsome? And it’s official, Bob is as white as snow. Yes, the Seattle
area has had enough snow to determine that. I won’t bemoan our fate though,
I know some of you have much more snow. Nevermind that I’ve been snow
bound for a week straight – nope I’m not going to whine. Much. :))

I find that somehow, by shifting the focus of attention, I become the
very thing I look at, and experience the kind of consciousness it has;
I become the inner witness of the thing. I call this capacity of
entering other focal points of consciousness, love; you may give it
any name you like. Love says “I am everything”. Wisdom says “I am
nothing”. Between the two, my life flows. Since at any point of time
and space I can be both the subject and the object of experience, I
express it by saying that I am both, and neither, and beyond both.

I’ve always believed that Source/God/Universe is not neutral. My background as a former nurse really has provided proof positive of that for this ‘show me’ girl. The body is so lovingly aligned with balance or what is known as homeostasis. There is nothing neutral about that and so it seems to me that everything in nature is orchestrated to seek balance. What else causes that except a loving, benevolent Universe that has our back. Frankly I’m not sure how I reconcile that with the Law of Attraction which Abraham states is neutral. For one, the so called neutral LOA does not account for the existence of absolute divine grace. So it would seem that there are other factors that surpass neutral laws.

I was so excited to actually run across a quote from one of Seth’s deleted sessions stating that God is not neutral. I include it below. Note that Ruburt is the name and male gender that Seth assigned Jane Roberts. Love, Bethie

Seth: “To begin with, a few comments about some thoughts of Ruburt’s.

He is quite correct: the universe is not neutral.

In the terms in which you understand the word, there is a God.

Obviously I am not speaking of a personification of a Superperson.

For that matter, in the terms of your language, and intellectual
concepts, you will probably have to take it for granted that you
cannot understand the nature of such a God.

You will know God’s actions, however, through the manifestations of
the universe.

That God is not simply neutral energy, for example.

The universe is supportive.

There is a force, if you prefer, that actively loves each individual,
each consciousness, and actively works to help that consciousness
attain the fulfillment inherent in its nature.

Despite all misinterpretations, therefore, the universe is caring, and
so is nature.

The impetus toward creativity is a loving one, and the natural
processes in both body and mind as lovingly directed.

The body even lovingly seeks to follow its own nature, and is lovingly
directed to do so…

…I realize you are not living in an ideal world, but we are giving
that world ideas that can vastly increase peoples’ understanding.”

When you are present in this moment,
you break the continuity of your story, of past and future.

Then true intelligence arises, and also LOVE.

The only way that LOVE can come into your life is not through form,
but through the inner spaciousness that is presence.

LOVE has no form. The world can only change from within.

You, Reader

north-star-benjamin-garvey

Any night you can awake and line up with the north star.
Any night disguised as a person walking
you can disappear. At the edge of town
darkness comes forward and opens its arms. That star
near the horizon burns its invitation,
“Come on.” So many lakes and lost places
wait that you need no plan–there are miles of moonlight
treasuring up waves, and reaches of earth mysterious
as Aladdin’s cave. The land rolls out its own
magnificence, and you inherit whatever your eyes
can prove by their glance that they’re worthy of.
You listen for music and it comes alive, even
in ordinary sound. The tone of your voice comes back
from the world enriched by all that it passes over.
And this language of ours holds it all.

Now, go back and begin again.

This is a re-post from September of ’07.  At the end I’ve added a video of Josh Groban’s You Raise Me Up.

There is a deep well of inner trust that I am tapping into these days.  Just recently I discovered that trust used to feel like something I did when I needed to do something.  So it became more of an action journey and I relied on something outside of myself to trust.

If I live in a Benevolent Universe, and “I create it all”, as Abraham has said — then it is not a huge leap to know that I don’t just live in a Benevolent Universe, I am also the Benevolent Universe.   I have my own back always.   And so it is that I can dip into my own well of inner trust.

I’ve been listening to Josh Groban’s song ‘You Raise Me Up’.  If you get a chance to hear it, it’s a deeply passionate song that you could term religious or spiritual.  I’ve taken a portion of the lyrics and I sing them as if I am singing about my Inner Being.

“You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;
You raise me up: To more than I can be.”

The power of singing it from the perspective of my human self to my Inner Being is incredible.  The ‘you’ is not something outside of me, it’s all me and it’s all within my reach.  Trust, faith, reliance, believing, knowing – it’s all right there inside my own heart and soul.  I encapsulate that which this Benevolent Universe is.  I believe we all do.  It’s an empowering place to stand.

Dominant among all things, is ALWAYS you are the Benevolent U, you have your own back, you are the Stream of Well Being, you are your Vibrational Escrow…you are all of it and if you don’t feel all of it in the moment or let’s say if I don’t feel all of it in the moment, I’m on a data collecting side trip or I’m in process or I’m girl, interrupted because that’s the way I chose it just so I could expand into more….And the moment I ACCEPT THE PERFECTION of even that which seems so unwanted, so imperfect, the moment I REMEMBER that I always, ALWAYS come back bigger from ALL contrast, is the moment I can touch the hem of All is Well again.

Just my musings on a cool, comforting and rainy day today.

Love, Bethie
